Grason* published a new paper entitled, Medial packing and elastic asymmetry stabilize the double-gyroid in block copolymers in Nature Communications. This new theory reshapes our understanding of how polymers measure the middle of complex shapes they self-assemble into and revise our understanding of equilibrium double-gyroid network morphology of block copolymers.
